Feral Cat Coalition
This organization's goal is to spay and neuter feral cats to reduce the number of kittens born in the wild. They set up monthly clinics in which people bring in feral cats they have trapped to be spayed, neutered, and checked over by veterinarians. These cats receive medical care, grooming, and medication and then they are released back from where they were trapped. Our volunteers are involved in many aspects at these clinics; we help in surgery prep, grooming, shots, and recovery. For more information go to www.feralcat.com.

Free Flight
Free Flight is an exotic bird sanctuary in Del Mar, CA. They house many different types of exotic birds who have been abandoned or mistreated. In many cases, exotic birds have long lifespans and require an extraordinary amount of care, which many people don't understand when choosing to get one. This organization offers a new home to these birds who cannot be adequately cared for, even adopting some birds out to suitable homes. When we volunteer with them, we help to clean up and prepare food for the many birds they house. One of the great things about volunteering with this organization is that there are many birds outside available to be held and talked to while you work. For more information visit www.freeflight.org.
